Hi, I'm Simon Bennett, founder of Warm Energy. My mission is to dramatically reduce carbon emissions from heating across the entire UK housing stock – not just new builds, but especially the millions of existing homes that need our help the most.

Living in a listed property myself, I've discovered something game-changing: heat pumps are so efficient that you can afford to keep your home warm 24/7. The running costs are incredibly low compared to traditional heating systems, making continuous operation not just possible, but economical.

This has a wonderful secondary benefit for older buildings – keeping them continuously warm helps prevent damp and decay. No more cold spots, no more moisture problems, just a consistently comfortable and healthy home.

But here's the problem: most heating controls don't understand heat pumps. They use outdated on/off logic that's the worst possible approach for heat pump efficiency. That's why I'm building Warm Energy – a third-party controller that actually works with how heat pumps operate, not against them.

Warm Energy is different. We understand that heat pumps need to modulate their output, not switch on and off. Our controller works with your heat pump's natural efficiency curve, optimizing based on weather compensation and your home's thermal characteristics. Finally, a controller that speaks heat pump!
