Our Mission
Hi, I'm Simon Bennett, founder of Warm Energy Labs. Our mission is to dramatically reduce carbon emissions from heating and cooling across the UK housing stock – not just new builds, but especially the millions of existing homes that need our help the most.
Living in a listed property with a heat pump, I've learned first-hand how capable these systems are – and how much of that capability goes unused. Warm Energy Labs builds products that close that gap.
Our Current Project: Heat Pump Fan Coil
Most UK heat pumps can produce chilled water, yet almost nobody uses it. Heat Pump Fan Coil is our answer: chilled-water fan coil kits that add quiet, efficient, room-by-room cooling to existing heat pump systems – without split AC units, refrigerant runs, or planning permission.
Why This Matters
- UK homes account for 14% of the nation's carbon emissions
- Heat pump cooling is 3–5× more efficient than portable air conditioning
- As UK summers get hotter, the answer shouldn't be millions of new AC units when the hardware is already on the wall
